On April 26, 2019, China Merchants Group (CMG) officially announced the bidding results of its legal services in 2019 on its bidding platform. Relying on our excellent talents and high-quality service programs, Dentons ranked first in two packages of the three packages of CMG's 2019 compliance project, and successfully joined the two panels.

On March 25, CMG announced that it intended to select legal service providers for its 2019 compliance project through public bidding.

Per the requirements of CMG, an 11-lawyer team from Dentons led by Senior Partner Cai Kaiming was set up to prepare for the pitch. The team members included Senior Partner Chen Litong, Partners Zhao Xue, Huang Xiangqiong, Shi Miao, Sun Lei and Wei Jinji, Counsel Yang Zhipeng and Zhao Zhongxing, as well as associate Ruan Donghui and Partner Gordon Ng (Dentons Hong Kong). By virtue of the team's meticulous work, we stood out from the participating leading domestic and international law firms and finally won the bid.
