The inauguration of the Resource Law Professional Committee of the China Society of Natural Resources and the first China Natural Resources and Rule of Law Forum were held in Chongqing on May 11 and 12, 2019. The forum was sponsored by the China Society of Natural Resources and Chongqing University, and organized by Dentons. Discussions were conducted around the rule of law in the natural resources sector and the global stance on ecological civilization.

Twenty lawyers from Dentons Beijing office and eight other offices attended the forum and had in-depth conversations with the guests. The sub-forum was moderator by our lawyer Yang Guisheng, while Liu An and Bai Chunmin were among the guest speakers. Yang Liu and Zhou Yu acted as commentators.

Yang Guisheng was elected as the vice chairman at the inauguration.
