On June 4 2013, the steering team of National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Sciences released the list of research projects granted National Social Science Fund (NSSF) for 2013. A research proposal entitled “Legal System Research on Financial Consumer Protection” by Chen Wenjun, an attorney from the finance practice of Dacheng Shanghai Office, was among the list under the category of the science of law.
 
NSSF is the only state-backed fund supporting China’s social sciences research. NSSF grants are issued to top-level research projects that will potentially improve the landscape of China’s social sciences. Since its inception, it has kept the attention of China’s academic circle and invited fierce competition. Attorney Chen Wenjun’s winning of the grant exhibits Dacheng’s high academic research capacity.
