From June 17 to 19 2013, Chairman Peng Xuefeng of Dacheng, who is also member of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC National Committee, participated in the second conference of the Standing Committee of the 12th CPPCC National Committee.
 
Yu Zhengsheng, Politburo Standing Committee member of CPC Central Committee and President of the CPPCC National Committee, attended the conference and gave a speech. Zhang Gaoli, Politburo Standing Committee member of CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council was present at the conference upon invitation and delivered a report entitled “Advance Ecological Progress and Break New Ground for China’s Growth”.
