Dacheng Attorneys Advise Beijing Taikong Panel Industry Corp. on ChiNext Listing

On October 1, 2012, Beijing Taikong Panel Industry Corp. (Ticker symbol:太空板业; Code No.: 300344) was successfully launched on the ChiNext start-up board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, issuing 25.13mln RMB-denominated ordinary shares. A Dacheng team acted as legal counsel for the issuer. The team was led by partner Shi Gang and composed of attorneys Yu Xugang and Qiu Yuanliang, with support from attorney Qu Xiangang and paralegal Yang Lin. Attorney Shi Gang was invited to attend the listing ceremony at the Exchange.
 
Taikong is primarily engaged in the R&D, design, manufacturing, distribution and support service of low-carbon, green and energy-saving building materials. It has now formed patent and product clusters that integrate product design, technology, processing equipment and innovative architectural systems, enabling the company to develop independently Taikong panels featuring lightness, high strength, energy saving, fireproofness, endurance, sound insulation, wind resistance, waterproofness, anti-condensation and anti-corrosion. Because of the powerful technological strength, high-quality products, full-fledged marketing and distributional channels and strong policy support from the government, Taikong is picking up speed to become a forerunner in China’s innovative, energy-saving building material industry.
 
The successful launch on the ChiNext provides Taikong access to the capital market, from where it could raise capital to support its capacity expansion drive, improve the quality and technological competitiveness of its products. In so doing, the company’s brand and reputation will be further enhanced and better corporate governance and structure readjustment will also be under way.
