Dentons lawyers were invited to write The Legal 500Franchise & Licencing Comparative Guide

Recently, The Legal 500 has released its Franchise & Licencing Comparative Guide for 2020. Bailey Xu and Caroline Hou, both of whom are senior partners at Dentons, were invited to write the Franchise Regulations and Rules chapter in the guide. Dentons was the exclusive contributor to the Chinese chapter of the guide. For each chapter, The Legal 500 selected a law firm and corresponding lawyers whose practice was recognized by The Legal 500 to write the chapter.

The chapter written by Bailey Xu and Caroline Hou thoroughly sorts out and analyzes in great detail the issues relating to the franchise regulations and rules. The chapter consists of a total of 31 questions covering the conditions precedent, registration and disclosure requirements and general matters needing attention relating to franchise, the content of pertinent regulations, etc., and analyzes the current legal developments of the Chinese franchise market and future law enforcement trends.
