Introduction

Gary started practicing law in 2002, and his area of practice includes mergers and acquisitions, construction and dispute resolution. He has long been providing services for foreign and foreign-invested companies that are in the fields of manufacturing, construction, pharmaceutical, hotel management, civil aviation, international trading and exhibition.

Representative Projects/Matters

Gary provided full-range legal services for dozens of transnational companies in their mergers and acquisitions of Chinese companies, including scheme design, due diligence, documentation, negotiations, closing and registrations;

Gary provided services for a number of private funds in their investment, including structure design, document drafting, negotiations, closing and issuing legal opinions;

Gary has been providing services for a number of construction companies in tendering, negotiations for the general contracts (including contracts based upon FIDIC terms) and revisions in construction;

He has been the long-term lawyer of several pharmaceutical companies and knows well the practices of pharmaceutical companies in China;

Gary has handled, in Chinese and English, over sixty arbitration cases with famous arbitral institutions, in the fields of construction, hotel management, international trading, agency and real estate development;

Gary has been the external legal counsel of several foreign airline companies and has handled successfully a number of disputes in international air transport.
