Kristine Zhu is a partner at Dacheng Law Offices, Beijing. She has 10 years of experiences in foreign direct investment, mergers & acquisitions, outbound investment and general corporate matters, and her practice covers industries of manufacturing, energy, food production and technology. Over the years, Kristine has served many Chinese enterprises such as ChinaCoal, China Logistics, ZTE, CETC, and multinational companies such as Total, Daimler, Siemens, POSCO, Uponor, Topsøe and Ossur.

Kristine's areas of experience mainly include assisting foreign investors in setting up joint ventures or wholly-owned subsidiaries in China as well as the liquidation and dissolution of foreign invested enterprises. She has also represented many Chinese companies in domestic and outbound mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and other investment projects. In addition, Kristine also assisted companies on their daily operation matters, including drafting and reviewing various types of commercial contracts/agreements, coordination in local government-related matters, legal due diligence in specific projects and providing other legal service as requested by the client.

Kristine has also participated in the secondment program to Dentons London office and Edinburgh office in 2019, assisting Chinese companies in their outbound investments in UK as well as UK entities to understand the latest policies and regulations on the investment in China.
