Shi Wanlin is currently a senior partner and honorary partner at Beijing Dacheng Law Offices LLP, a senior commissioner at the World Organization of Expert Advisors and Arbitrators (OMECA), an expert researcher at the Institute of Foreign-Related Law at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, the chief legal advisor to the China-Foreign Entrepreneurs Federation, and the legal advisor to the former Ambassador of the Republic of Madagascar to China. In 2023, he was awarded the National Knight of the Order of Merit （Ordre National Chevalier de Madagascar）by the President of the Republic of Madagascar .

In 2023, Attorney Shi was honored to be listed on the WTO/International Trade Best Lawyers List for the popular region by The Legal 500, an internationally renowned legal rating agency, in recognition of his outstanding legal service capabilities, exceptional performance, and excellent client reputation. In 2025, the project led by Attorney Shi, titled “Guangdong Provincial State Farm Group Co., Ltd. undertaking the overseas sugar industry project of China Complete Equipment Import and Export Group Co., Ltd.,” was nominated for the “Deal of the Year” award by International Financial Law Review (IFLR).
Attorney Shi graduated from Zhongnan University of Economics and Law with a degree in Planning and Statistics, Paris Dauphine University with a degree in International Finance, and Paris Descartes University with a degree in International Business Law. He has worked at the Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau of the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China, China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation Yanshan Corporation. He was Partner and Head of Management Committee of law office Pfeffer & Associes, Paris, and Partner and Head of Management Committee, Dacheng Law Offices, France.

Over the years, Mr. Shi has assisted Chinese enterprises such as China General Nuclear Power Corporation, China Nuclear Power Corporation, China State Construction Engineering Corporation, Wuhan Iron and Steel Group, and China Great Wall Industry Corporation in completing more than 100 international investment, financing, and M&A transactions in fields such as aerospace, mineral energy, infrastructure construction, and high technology. His notable achievements include: China General Nuclear Power Corporation's acquisition of a stake in French nuclear power company AREVA; Ningbo Joyson Electronics' acquisition of Germany's Preh Group (named one of “China's Top Ten M&A Deals of 2011”); China Minsheng Investment Group's acquisition of Luxembourg-based “Luxaviation” business aviation management company; Chongqing Zongshen Tianchen General Aviation Co., Ltd.'s acquisition of Canada's Harbour Aviation; Wuhan Iron & Steel Group, Guangxin Foreign Trade Group, Hony Capital, and Hong Kong Jinxin International Group's acquisition of Madagascar's Sularra Iron Ore Mine; North China Power acquired a Lithuanian power company; China Construction 13th Bureau acquired a French construction company; particularly in the highly publicized Charles de Gaulle Airport collapse incident, Attorney Shi's outstanding negotiation skills secured substantial compensation for Chinese citizens, which was extensively covered by domestic and international media outlets such as China Central Television, French Television, and Phoenix Satellite Television's Chinese-language channel.
