The 2nd Form on Development of Arbitration Bodies in Mid-Size Cities, Supported by Dentons Jilin Office in Jilin Attracted Widespread Attention. 

To achieve new goals set out in the 19th Communist Party of China National Congress to build socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, and catalyze development of arbitration in mid-size cities in China, having obtained approval from China Academy of Arbitration Law, the Form on Development of Arbitration Bodies in Mid-Size Cities ran for a second year in the beautiful river-side city of Jilin on August 23, 2018. The event, held in World Trade Winning Hotel, was hosted by the Development of Arbitration Bodies in Mid-Size Cities Commission of China Academy of Arbitration Law, organized by Anyang Arbitration Committee, and Jilin Arbitration Committee, and supported by Dentons Jilin office.

More than 120 secretary-generals and representative of arbitration bodies from 51 mid-size cities in China, and arbitrators from Jilin Arbitration Committee, as well as lawyers from Dentons Jilin office attended the forum, which was opened by Zhang Jianhong, deputy secretary-general of Anyang City. Zhan Tiegong, deputy secretary-general of Jilin City, and Chen Jian, deputy secretary-general of China Academy of Arbitration Law also spoke at the forum. 

Yu Yaowu, senior partner and head of Dentons Jilin office, delivered a speech on classification and prevention of arbitration risks. 

Mr. Yu also moderated a panel discussion in the second session in the morning, and a seminar in the afternoon.

The 2nd Form on Development of Arbitration Bodies in Mid-Size Cities came to a successful end.
