Recently, Shanda Games Limited (NASDAQ: GAME), a leading online game developer, operator and publisher in China, filed a Schedule 13E-3 transaction statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission with respect to its going private transaction. In connection therewith, Dacheng Law Offices Senior Partner Ling Xiao, Partner Ying Li and Associate Jing Li served as international legal counsel to Orient Hongzhi (Hong Kong) Limited, Orient Hongtai (Hong Kong) Limited and Hao Ding International Limited, major shareholders of Shanda Games and members of a consortium seeking to take Shanda private.
